Bovver Boots
As I've mentioned before I am a mentalist for a mashup. I don't know what the exact scores on the doors are, but at the last count it was roughly 15 - 20 CDs worth of self compiled booty bounty grabbed from the net.
This trio of terrors are three of the Punky bootleg remixes from the collection. I would give credits - dates, details etc.. to whoever produced these tracks, but like most cyberspace oddities of the time, these were only available online for a few days and the sketchy info below is all I have.
The Lurkers vs Beyonce.mp3
The Buzzcocks vs Madison Avenue.mp3
The Ramones vs The Beastie Boys.mp3

before i've even heard it whoever combined beyonce with the lurkers deserves a medal

I agree with Ally. Beyonce and the Lurkers is mad genius.
Can't wait for J-Lo with Slaughter and the Dogs.
It's a tough toss up between Beyonce and 'Boredom/Don't Call Me Baby' for me.
I'll be loading up a couple more tomorrow, if I can find them. But not the Crass/Sigue Sigue Sputnik/ George Bush one - well, not yet anyway.
That Lurkers /Beyonce sounds like a gospel meeting at The Roxy. That should be a 'real' record!
It's a cracker isn't it - there's a couple more loaded up today if you fancy filling your boots (ouch)
Jesus H Corbett, where did you find that Buzzcocks thing? Even I didn't keep a copy of it... in fact I'd forgotten all about it until now.
2003. Simpler times.
The Lurkers track might have been done by Ultra396 (as he was then). I know he was a big fan of them.....
Thanks Soundhog and Anon - so it's just the Ramones/Beasties left to crack the credits on.
I love the Lurkers one and totally agree with ally. What a mixture!
love it - cheers
