Fey Rays

I've found salvation. Embraced in the arms of soft wafty pop and the soothing moonage daydreams of FC Kahuna, Jon Hopkins and Ulrich Schnauss. Waddya mean Ulrich who?

Although it's Memory Cassette who have been the real spoonful of sugar. Something like a cosmic Cocteaus glitzed with a downbeat disco shimmer. Lend an ear and melt into the magic.

Memory Cassette - Listen to the Vacuum

How can anyone feel glum after a blast of this bubblegum booty from the Grand Master of mash ups. Released yesterday (as part of a three way whammy)and grabbable here

Hmmm... as much as love GHP that one almost pushes me over the edge. It is good, but so, so annoying!!!

Love the Memory Cassette tracks. Are they new?

Give this one a wallop, see what you think - Steve Miller and The Passions..

Memory Cassette - 2009 I think, but it's a cat's cradle of mystery bands I'm trying to untangle. Mainly one chap Dayve Hawk , who releases tunes through his blog (which I can't find and the Memory Cassette myspace has been deleted), but there's also Memory Tapes, Weird Tapes and Hail Social spin-offs

I like that one! It works strangely well together. Nothing beats the Carly Simon / Stones one though. And I've just discovered Abba and The Bunnymen!

Supreme Evil is old fave of mine. Oh and just found this little gem from Memory Tapes - Bicycle which sounds like the Talking Heads poppier sprogs..

Nice one Mondo - Michael Jackson when he still had it. You'll no doubt be aware of this newly released Jackson 5 live album(s) from the vaults. Good to have you back btw.

Thanks Drew - as Keith Richards said 'It's good to be here. It's good to be anywhere'. I take it you've got the Far away Trains album Drew. A Tuetonic beaut'.

It's an odd combo of tunes Lil - one to fry your brain, one to soothe your doings.

Dig about ISB there's plenty of MC downloads on the net, and they're all this good..

argggHHH! Thats got to be the WORST GHP mash up i've ever heard!! not so much a mash up, more two records playing at the same time!! Don't work for me at all...

Memory Cassette tracks were much better!
