Latin Quarter
As an antidote to the shoulder-slumping parade of puppets, poppets and gumps that is the Eurovision Song Contest, May is World Music Month on the PM blog. We start off on the road to Brazil with probably one of the finest tunes ever logged in my cyberspace scrapbook - Não Aguento Você
It may sound like a song reformed from Set Me Free and Sha-na-na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye - but bounces and breezes with the sort of tropical waft that the Brazilians do so well.

Perky!
Very - the rest of the album isn't quiet so tasty though.
PS It was also sampled for this
That tune sure is cheerful Mondo - Just what’s needed on a dull, damp day like today...
bah, you saying about Set Me Free and Sha-na-na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye meant I couldn't escape it! Thats all I could hear! The intro reminded me of something too, but not sure what (maybe the intro to Juliet Bravo!!)
Like the guys line in bumble-bee jumpers too, they were all the rage wernt they?
P
Peachy isn't Lil - don't forget to check back for some World-wide covers this Friday..
Good point P - I should have pitched at as which two tunes have been borrowed? Perhaps ol' bumble went on to be that bloke from The Simpsons.
That's great - just up my street.
Too short though!
I've been playing Gather in the Mushrooms this week Cocktails, and same thing. A tune just begins to hits it's groove then it's gone!!
