In the niche genre: songs with ear-cringing out of tune arrangements.. this, with it's 'clang, clang, clang went the trolley' horn riff has to be one of the finest..

I was about to write that I must be tone deaf because that Stormsville Shakers (great name!) track was sounding pretty good to me...then it hit 1 min 20...

Jarring on the ear! And how did the muddy acoustic mess slip through Young Americans QC. Picked up on that clunker via an XTC book of all the things (or was 'To Major Tom' Dave Thompson?)

What do you think on Eno in the photo? Didn't the Faraway Beach biog mention he dabbled with the Portsmouth Sinfonia?

He played with them a lot, yes. It does look like him in Roxy days, but hadn't he got the shorter barnet by this time?
